Nova Medical CentersSuresh has over 22 years of front line experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, General Management and Business Development for global organizations including Emerson Electric and Lucent Technologies.
Formerly Suresh was the Managing Partner at the GTI Group, a Venture Capital and Private Equity Company headquartered in New York. Suresh led the GTI Group's initiatives in India. At GTI, He co-founded Glori Oil, Coldwatt and Nova Medical Centers. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nova Medical Centers till July 2014. Suresh led the investment for the GTI Group in Air Works Engineering India and served as Chairman & CEO for 3 years.
Suresh completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University, attended the Master in International Business Program at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). He received his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama, USA and later went to Harvard Business School to acquire a diploma in Advanced Management.
Suresh was awarded the Frost and Sullivan ‘Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year 2013’ award for Nova’s most promising and innovative business model, which has made an impact on the healthcare industry.
Dr. Manish Banker
Co-Chairman & Medical Director
MBBS, MDDr Banker is the Past President of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction and a member of the Draft Committee for the ART Bill of India, ICMR. In addition to being a founder Board Member of Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproductive Endocrinology, he is a regional representative of International Committee for Monitoring ART and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Surveillance Editorial Board of International Federation of Fertility Societies. Dr Banker was also the Chairman, Infertility Committee, Federation of Obstetrics and gynecological Societies of India. He is the chairman of the Scientific Committee for the IFFS 2016 conference. Dr Banker has been publishing the National ART Registry of India for 10 years and has numerous publications in indexed journals and contributed chapters in various textbooks.
Dr. Juan Antonio García Velasco
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology &
Director IVI MadridDr. García Velasco graduated from Madrid University School of Medicine in 1990 and received his obstetrics and gynaecology certification from Autonoma University – Hospital La Paz in 1995. From 1997 to 1998 he studied at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut through a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship. He is currently Professor of Gynaecology at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and Director of the Master in Human Reproduction of Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid.
Professor García Velasco has more than 100 papers published in peer-reviewed journals as well as 22 book chapters and 4 books on human reproduction, especially on endometriosis and both hyper and hypo- ovarian stimulation response. He has been a Principal Investigator of projects funded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. He is member of the Editorial Committee of Fertility & Sterility and Reproductive Biomedicine Online and SGI, ESHRE, ASRM, SEGO and SEF.

IVI General ManagerLuis is an Economist and a Lawyer. He obtained a Degree in Economics from the School of Economics of the University of Valencia and also a MD in Law by the European University of Madrid (UEM). He completed his studies in Business Management at the ESADE Business School. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
He joined Arthur Andersen (later Deloitte) in 1987 and worked in the Audit and in the Tax & Legal Divisions. In 1997 he joined Garrigues (the leading Spanish law firm) and worked as a tax consultant. In 2000, he joined IVI. He has played a key role in the success of IVI from the business point of view. He currently holds the position of General Manager and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Group and also a member of the Board of IVI Foundation.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with several schools teaching in programs related to business matters. .
Goldman SachsHarsh is an Executive Director in Goldman Sachs' Merchant Banking Division (MBD) in India. He is responsible for investments across growth and buyout opportunities.
Previously, Harsh was in the healthcare group of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in New York. Prior to that he was a manager at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
Harsh serves on the Board of ReNew Power Ventures Private Limited, Nova Medical Centers Pvt. Ltd. and BPL Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Harsh earned a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, where he was a recipient of the Dean's Award for academic achievement. .
Dr. Mahesh Reddy
Founder & Director
MS (Orth) Mch (Orth) FRCS (Eng)Dr. Mahesh Reddy is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Nova Medical Centers. He is counted amongst the foremost specialists in the area of shoulder surgery in India.
Dr. Reddy was conferred an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has rendered lectures on various shoulder topics as a guest faculty in national and international meetings. He is an Executive Member of the CII National Committee for health and Secretary of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of India. He has also founded the Watanabe Cadaveric Course in India to provide hands-on training for shoulder arthroscopic surgeons.
Dr. Reddy is associated with two internationally renowned orthopaedic surgery research journals, namely the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) and Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery as a reviewer & subeditor for Asia. He is the Organizing Secretary of the annual Bangalore Shoulder Course.

Senior Managing Director
New Enterprise AssociatesBala Deshpande is the Senior Managing Director of New Enterprise Associates (India) Pvt. Ltd (NEA India) based out of its Mumbai office and responsible for creating and building the NEA India platform. She serves on the board of several NEA portfolio companies such as Financial Software and Services, Infinitas Energy Solutions, Vishwa Infrastructures, etc.
Prior to this, she was Senior Director of Investments at ICICI Venture where she had been since 2000. At ICICI Venture, she used her operational experience to identify opportunities for investment and to play a key role in shaping the future of investee companies. During her tenure at ICICI Venture, she was a Director on the boards of several companies including Future Retail, Air Deccan, Nagarjuna Construction, Welspun, TechProcess Solutions, Info Edge etc, and continues to serve on the board of Future Retail and Info Edge as Independent Director. Her private equity experience has seen the full cycle from nurturing young companies to executing multiple exits including IPO’s, buy-backs, strategic sales, and capital market divestments.
Prior to ICICI Venture, Ms. Deshpande worked with leading multinational companies such as Bestfoods, Cadburys, and ICI. Ms. Deshpande has a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Jamnalal Bajaj, Mumbai.
